Subtopia is built upon one simple question: How will we steer ourselves away from what some view as an all but inevitable doom? Our answer is art and community. Artists can and, historically, have changed the world. Community means people pulling together to survive the elements and, in this day and age, the elements have less to do with the forces of nature and more to do with the threat of economy, corporations buying up the world, and the increase of productivity taking over creativity. Community is what happens when people come together to make the world they want to live in. Subtopian Magazine is built in the hope of inspiring an art community to come together with a shared vision of how to make the world a better place for ourselves and the next generation.
With that message in mind we want to be accessible to everyone out there, everyone that has a question or an idea to share, an ambition, a goal, you name it, we want to hear it. Keep in mind, this is not where we want stories submitted. We have a submissions page for that. This is where we want to get to know each of you. If you have a project idea, a suggestion for how we can improve the site, or if you see a place for yourself within the magazine then contact us and we will, in all honesty, hear you out and get a dialogue going.
Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your questions, suggestions or creative proposal ideas. We can’t wait to hear from each and every one of you.
